Good Land Brewing Co. in Traralgon, Gippsland, launched in 2021 by husband and wife team Jimmy Krekelberg & Layla Brock. Good Land are a young brewery but while head brewer Jimmy has only had his dream space for a few years, it’s been long imagined and well earned, as he spent decades brewing beer all over Europe. Including long stints in breweries in Scotland and the world famous Brouwerij De Molen in the Netherlands.
Hey Jude is a pretty classic WCIPA with everything you’d expect and hope for – big juicy citrus alongside pine notes. It does have a sweeter malt base but the hoppy bitterness still comes through. Hopped with Chinook, Simcoe and Cascade and sitting at a very drinkable 6.7%.
