Seven Clouds was originally brewed with Grape & Grain to celebrate their 7th birthday. A celebration-worthy beer was required. Taiheke, Motueka and Nelson Sauvin hops from the Land of the Long White Cloud came to the party. Double dry hopped with an all-Kiwi line up of hops gives Seven Clouds herbaceous, zesty, and gooseberry notes, showing off the fresh and floral characters unique to the growing conditions of New Zealand. A soft, rounded malt backbone creates a creamy mouthfeel and texture thanks to the generous use of oats, which is then fleshed out with the addition of lactose. – Hop Nation
