Translating to ‘Perfect Marrage’, Mariage Parfait is a Kriek from Lambic brewery Boon whose first vintage dates back to 1980. Made with strong, young lambic that has been aged for 6 months in small barrels on overripe wild cherries at a rate of 400g per litre. The heavier oak contact from the smaller barrels impart characteristics of clove and vanilla, while the cherries give a roundness to the beer and flavours of dried cherries.
