Father Malone is brewed to showcase not only the dark malts we love but also the favourite barrels we’ve selected for aging. We set a base beer to rest for an entire year in Pedro Ximénez sherry barrels to extract the full flavour potential of this complex but fabulous pairing. In this version we’ve used one of our favourite beans from Hale, their delightful Ethiopian roast, to enrich the flavour profile: expect aromas of roasted coffee, dark chocolate and cocoa and a healthy dose of candied fruit and sherry heat. – Blood Brothers
