Sangiovese from the Osawa vineyard in Mangatahi, and the successor to the Mangatahi cuvée of 2022. A portion is direct-pressed, with the remainder macerated as a red wine, and then the portions are carefully blended to create the final wine. While this pours well as a chilled, dark rosé, even more layers unfurl when the wine is served just below room temperature, as an ultra-light red wine.
