Made from Cabernet Sauvignon out of the same vineyard as the Chardonnay above the fruit was lightly foot cruched and left to mascerate with whole bunches for about 6 hours before being pressed to tank and barrel. The wine stayed on full lees for the duration of ferment and elevage and we blended the wine a week or so prior to bottling in early September. The style of this really yummy rose is textured, fresh, fruity and oral. Perfect on ice with a few cubes in the glass on a hot one. – Travis Tausend
