In January 2015, Marc Delienne bought a property in Fleurie to create his new business. A vat room was quickly built, and the conversion to organic was immediately started in order to acquire organic certification as soon as possible.

On predominantly sandy or sandy-silty soils from primary rocks (granites) or ancient alluvium, with sometimes very stony cover and shallow to medium depth, the vines, aged from 40 to over 80 years, are planted at a density of 11,000 vines/ha. Traditional goblet pruning is respected here, although the vines are trained in such a way as to significantly increase the height of the vegetation. Regular, shallow soil work, special care given to vegetation in season as well as the practice of biodynamics are essential characteristics of the estate’s cultivation.

The vinifications are carried out gently and as naturally as possible. It is with whole harvests, after a rigorous sorting, that the concrete vats are filled, without yeast or chaptalization. The daily pumping over is not supported for extractions without excess. The vatting is short, the wines are filled with earth, for the most part, as soon as the pressing is done.
