This is the 2019 vintage of the Lapin Cherry Sour Blonde.
Now in its second year, the Lapin celebrates the cherry harvest and uses organically grown Victorian Lapin cherries from Mark’s Farm in Benalla. This year we mixed things up, adding the cherries directly into our 3000-litre wooden foedre barrel, where our sour blonde ale had been quietly ageing.
It re-fermented there for a few months, meaning this year’s vintage brings a bit more funk, but once again is a crisp, refreshing sour. – Hop Nation Brewing Co.
