Our 2019 Rose is a blend of 40% Cabernet Sauvignon (The Karina Vineyard planted in 1984 on white clay), 30% Pinot Meunier (Hickinbotham Vineyard planted in 1986 on sandy black loam), 15% Merlot (The Karina Vineyard planted in 1984 on white clay) and 15% Sauvignon Blanc (The Rivendell Vineyard planted in 2000 on sandy loam). All grapes are whole bunch pressed to tank for a 6-week wild ferment. Once dry, wines are aged in old wood for 6 months on fine lees. Bottled unfiltered and un-fined with 20 parts of SO2 added in the week leading up to bottling. – ARC Wines
