Silverwood vineyard established 1998. Viticulture managed by Kerri Greens since 2016.
2018 delivered excellent ripening conditions which were essential as the vines were carrying – despite some green pruning – a solid yield. Fruit was picked over a few sessions in early March.
Spotless clean fruit– it really is important – allowed us to avoid all additions, fully de-stemmed, plunged softly, lovingly, daily. This year we chased a little more intensity leaving the foothills in barrel – 25% new – a full 12 months.
Certainly the most typical Pinot we have conjured in our short history. No Addition other than Sulphur.
